Owner and operator since 2008
Jo’Ann Bialecki has been practicing as a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist since 2005. One of her biggest passions aside from her career is helping animals. Although she has pets of her own, her guilty pleasure is to donate to the Buffalo Animal Shelter regularly.
She graduated top 10 in her class from New York Institute of Massage in Williamsville NY and started her own self sustained business by August 2008. Throughout her career she has taken several courses in myofascial and structural related techniques. She received her certificate as a myofascial therapist in 2006 from the CORE Institute located in Tallahassee Florida.
Jo’Ann graduated with honors in 2008 from Erie Community College in Williamsville NY with a life science degree. During that same year she went on an Aegean retreat to Santorini Greece to attend a myofascial work shop presented by the Core Institute. Tom Myers was the guest Rolfer which is where Jo’Ann’s passion started with Rolfing and Structural Integration. She has continued this journey becoming a Structural Body worker from Anatomy Trains in 2017 located in Walpole Maine and then graduated in 2018 as a Structural Integrator.
Jo’Ann is now the only Certified Anatomy Trains Structural Integrator in her home town of Buffalo New York! Her instruction has been closely followed by owner and founder of Anatomy Trains, Tom Myers. Tom studied directly under Dr. Ida Rolf, creator of Rolfing. Tom is one of just a few individuals throughout the United States who was fortunate to work with Ida personally.
